Event

An extension of the Millennium Line SkyTrain along Broadway has been explored for over two decades. The adoption of the Regional Mayor’s Transportation Vision in 2014 and the recent unanimous reaffirmed support for the Vision by the region’s Mayors means that the extension is close to becoming a reality.

Presenters Steve Brown, P.Eng., and Rachel Jamieson, P.Eng., will discuss how the Lower Mainland compares to other regions in North America in terms of transit ridership and the positive repercussions of this transit infrastructure investment. An overview of the Millennium Line Broadway Extension will also be presented, including the next steps that will be taken to make it a reality.
